Photo Projects

First, here’s how I displayed this group of 5 x 7’s in the loft. I copied my friend Courtney’s idea of making a fabric-covered mat, and I have to say, this group of pictures over my favorite Amy Butler fabric makes me So. Very. Happy…

Next, this little project makes me happy because it meant I didn’t have to buy a single new frame to hang all the prints from our photo session.  I originally thought I’d have to buy a frame for the black and white 8 x 10 of me and Alek, but then I remembered an old wood frame my dad gave me a while back.

So add some primer, paint, and drying time, and I had a free, “new” frame. I moved my much-loved wood print (from Ashley) from the kitchen to the playroom to make this collection. Three pieces I absolutely love…

Finally, I also hung this collection in our bedroom. Small pictures of the kids, fabric swatches I love, and the 8 x 10 of me and Alek that makes me smile, and laugh, every time I see it.

You are a design genius!!!! The last photo is wonderful, I love your laughter and free-spirit but it is Alek’s expression that truly captures the moment. To me, his expression seems to say “Another renovation, really?”
